IKEA dishwasher fire risk recall 2014 and 2015 purchases.

My other IKEA thread just reminded me that IKEA have a fire risk recall that seems to affect just about every dishwasher model they sold 2014 to 2015 including ours.

We got an EMail as we registered for the "family" discount card. I suspect casual buyers not leaving such info may not be aware. Worth having a look on their website if you bought one. They send someone round free of charge to fix the machine.

Just set fire to it and get over and done with.  :y

Then theres the Insurance claim from Ikea, how much does a new Kitchen cost?  ::)

Insurance fraud?

Setting fire to your own appliance and possibly house? You would have to be brave. :o

I am actually a fan of electrical appliances from IKEA so I was quite shocked(pun) for them to have a fault.
