You lot have it easy. I'm paying £45.07 each month to run a dreary old Signum.  :-\

Sucker. Think you'd have to pay me to have a Signum  :P

You're just jealous because it runs on God's intended fuel and doesn't sound like a canal boat. ::) :P :P :P :P :P :P

You'll beg me to sell it to you once all derv cars have been banned. :)

The Signum is based on the mighty Vectra. A car admired by all. :)

I often think I see another Signum driving toward me but it invariably turns out to be a Vectra.

Signum's never sold in big numbers and the 2.8V6 versions are extremely rare.

There might be a reason for that.  :D

The 2.8V6 Turbo Signum is an undiscovered motoring icon (at least that is what I like to believe) :)

Soon to be spoken about in the same breath as the Lotus Carlton, and, dare I say it, Chevette 2300HS. :y

Soon to be spoken about in the same breath as the Lotus Carlton, and, dare I say it, Chevette 2300HS if you drive it in reverse so the correct wheels are driven.. :y

It's a complete ****ing joke.  How they can justify maintaining the £500+ pa bracket after slashing the new rate.  >:(

I think it's £140 flat rate for everything but anything with a new price of £40k or over has a £300 (ish) additional fee for the first five years.

Looking forward to getting a 5 year old BMW 760Li in 2022  :y

Oh the new rates are fine... it's the 2006 - 2017 rates for the higher emitters that are wholy unfair, and will doubtless result in the early scrapping of otherwise perfectly serviceable cars.

Can't see small cars shifting terribly well later this year when the tax rate rises 950% though!  ;D
