Seat conversion to Elite Leather
« on: 20 April 2017, 08:09:04 »

Hi Omega owners - need advice.
I have a CDX with cloth seats. manual back rest adjustment, manual leg room adjustment and electric height adjustment - through a switch up/down.

Just bought Elite leather with electric everything.
Previous posts state the passenger seat just plugs in and it will work ? is this true as the Elite seat height adjuster is also the back adjuster through a switch up/down and left/right for backrest angle.
I understand the electrical mods needed for the drivers memory seat (joining wires) as described  in a earlier post.
Can anyone confirm or advice please? Great cars by the way.

If seats are from a late model Elite with passenger child seat module fitted, DO NOT plug in the yellow rectangular connector, also will possibly need a TechII chat. Elite seat bolts needed as well due to longer length

The passenger side dash end cap will have a warning sticker on it.

The how to guide is very good, follow it and you'll be fine. A little bit of electrical work, solder and heat shrink, don't bodge and a longer set of bolts and it's a simple change over. Remember to disconnect the battery as well to remove any likelihood of the pre-tensioners or airbags going off.
