My Sky Q Ultra HD thingymebob went live on Sunday. Very impressed so far. To get the UHD you have to have the 2TB box  and if you have the 2TB box you have to have multiscreen - whilst this is basically b****x I managed to get a fair price for everything overall with all new kit and both normal and fancy controllers. Having saved on this package (in my mind at least)  the savings now offset by Mrs who has dropped her phone again for second time in 2 months - might give Sky Mobile a go. With multiscreen at least there are more interesting options in the bedroom......

Changeover was seamless, only getting 25Mbs down and 11 up at the moment but have been assured that this will improve with time..........a bit like me  :)

Really? Training normally goes other way, as training is about discovering what the line can't sustain.

Well....it better not go the other way, cause I was promised 38-39. So.....I will tell them I wouldn't of bought it if I couldn't get those speeds.....so they can jolly well do something about it. So there.  :P

Well, fingers crossed for you.

Don't mess with router for the training period, as that can drag it down as well.

But in my experience, the initial sync isn't far from the mark, and tends to drop around 5-10% before settling...

TBH, I don't think it really matters. I don't download films or anything like that, I just thought I should 'keep up' with things.  ;D
Not actually noticing any difference to the 6Mb I had before, except an app I downloaded whizzed through in about three seconds instead of the usual 20.

For me, its the upload that I notice most - things like cloud services such as online storage become viable.

For general browsing with just 2 or 3 of you in the house, you'll not see much difference.

I take it you are cabled in, not using wifi before you measure speeds?

can you post the full results from speedtest.btwholesale.com
A couple at different times of the day would help too, evenings may well be slower.

Don't attempt speed tests over wifi, unless you know what you are doing.

With wifi, the wifi part will be the limiting factor with most 802.11g/a/n setups. Esp if someone else is active on same or overlap channel
