No milk in ours but sometimes a large dollup of mayo mixed in

Peel and cut into chunks potatoes,do same with turnip or swede.Boil in lightly salted water until soft,drain and add some milk,butter/margarine and an egg and then mash it all together.

Its always a pink job.  When it HAS to be blue, Smash.  That's awful enough to ensure it always stays a pink job.


If no pink facilities available, then chips.
