Gluten/wheat free meal recipes + BEER!!
« on: 12 August 2008, 00:38:32 »

Anyone know of any?

Following consultation, it looks like pretty much our household (incl the dogs!) have an intolerance, and it seems to be in most foods!  >:(

Giving up beer won't be easy, but I need to consider it (or significantly cut down) due to this  :'(

I have an intolerance to beer as well, I'm afraid. Normally kicks in after about number 11 or 12... :-X

Got quite a bad wheat intolerance myself :( Only came through in the last couple of years. Quack tells me its stress related....caused by my car chrash. But once you got it, thats it for life :'(
Causes ring-burn syndrome ::) not to mention cronic stomach upsets

Im ok with Beer, with the exeption of Fosters....not the end of the world ::)

Don't drink much larger nowadays anyway.

Food ain't to bad to find, but still a PITA.

Got a local bakery that does my the odd loaf....actually tastes of bread too :o :o (those who've had wheat free bread will know how grim the shop bought stuff is)

Pasta etc is readily avaliable at tesco, along with cakes etc etc....bit more pricy, but don't taste too different from the real thing.

HTH
Let us know what else you find!!

Edit: O' and Oatabix is a friggin' godsend :y

From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it.
