Decided last night to have a short holiday, fancied the lakes....nearest accomodation we could find was a premier inn in Carlisle.

Had a nice meander up today, stopping in Lancaster & Keswick (where Markie was a star and found a little work around the Nokia / Three / Keswick issue, Cheers matey  :y ), Also stopped off in my fav whisky shop  :D

Now to enjoy a nice few days away  :D

ahh and the joys of wifi!

Howdoo, Mr FBW....  Glad to see you out in the fresh air!

Re the whisky.  You still got your Welsh concoction, or have you moved back onto the real stuff??

Still got a shot or 3 of that left, todays purchase was an 18yo Islay called Caol Ila.  Ill let you know what its like  :D

Think that takes me up to about 12 bottles in stock!
[/highlight]

What is the point in having them in stock ::) ::) ::) Drink them ;D ;D ;D

That said, I am trying to get keep a few malts in :y

This post sent from out Caravan in Ripon and the weather is looking poor here as well ::) Looks like York for us tomorrow. :y
Enjoy your break, if you decide to venture this way (North Yorks) give us a shout :y

If you're at J42 - I'm less than a mile away  :o

Severe weather warning for the next few days  :-[

If you need some ideas of indoor places to visit just let me know.

Lot's of animals, out door play area and huge INDOOR play centre, and just 10 minutes away.  :)

Cheers Matey - we are at the carlisle north premier inn?
Not sure of the junction, came up the back roads
