Talking of cocks, an x351 Jag XJL owner pulled into Sainsburys carpark yesterday, and put it right in the middle of 2 spaces.

Now, owning the SWB version, I know they are big cars for small parking spaces, but, I mean, REALLY?  It wasn't an old duffer either.

One of my many intrusive thoughts is to buy an original smart car  or similar just so I can park it in the 3/4 of a space some drivers insist on leaving next to their car.   >:D

Fitted with a Hayabusa engine - obviously.
One of my Bro's worked for a company where he could choose any company car from Mercedes, and usually chose a Smart.  Partly because he could park it anywhere ;D

Ran out of go!  Gear changes weird, and no go over 50.
P0101 code

Found an intercooler hose disintegrating, going up like a baloon and hissing.

New one ordered along with service items

Put some 'elastictrickery' into the PP9 of Mrs Opti's milk float.

How are you is she liking it? ???   :)

She loves it.

I have to say I really wanted to hate it, and hate driving it......but I have to say it is really great to drive and handles like a much smaller car.

Only 400 BHP but it's pretty quick between 30MPH and 90MPH.

I would be wary of owning one once the 36 month warranty is done, though. Expensive to repair. :-X

Washed all the dust and bugs off it. Almost looks presentable now...

Flatted, mopped and polished the Austin, it was a tad warm in my workshop. Hoping to give it a road test tomorrow once I have set the tracking.

Had a successful 2 mile shake down, no leaks and it drove okay. Ride a bit firm and steering on the heavy side. Longer test tomorrow.
