Internet explorer 8 and web cams
« on: 19 September 2008, 19:42:18 »

Tonight I wanted to watch some different countries from the web cams live.. ;D

So I open the google earth but somehow I couldnt manage to open the web cam layer >:( :-[

anyway searched in the net and find some links and able to open the layer (after also I couldnt bring back  ;D) and then open the web cams one by one..But no live data only frozen picture..

So I checked the link it says you need IE7 or above to watch live data and flash and media player xx blah blah..

So I started messing up ;D

Loaded IE8 some new media player 11 etc.. Too many restarts..

Finally I'm in the middle of nowhere ..STill webcams dont work properly..And I have a rather IE8 not working properly..

And OOF page buttons are everywhere  ;D >:( >:(

if you have got ie8 at the top where you got your page refresh button to the left there is an icon which is like a broken page
click that and 9 times out of 10 it will change the page so you can view it from ie7 and it should work fine

Update..

They originally moved the layer from the free version..

But this link loads the camera setups and some wide angle photos..

http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=12088

(click the view in google earth link..)

Some cameras give live data also..But rare and you need media player 10 or above..
