Bl**dy ramp
« on: 12 October 2008, 19:10:03 »

WHere I live the parking area to road is a steep and short slope over teh pavement.

There are concrete edgings at the top but they are now sticking out.

My new suspension is slightly lower and sometimes things touch >:(

Cold chisel on concrete this week!

The neighbours cars are all short and in the air, the drop on mine is not much but just pushed it over the boundary :( Literally a few mm

try all the speed bumps on various camps, I find that going over them at 30% angle helps

If you ever find yourself in Swindon and stray into Pinehurst road or Beech Avenue.....they have bloody mountainous speed ramps  >:(
Both roads are 20mph limits......but Ive found by experimenting 25mph is the ideal speed to hit them......less of a jolt if you hit them square on.....tho carnt comment on the damage its doing  >:(
I try to avoid if possible  :y
