first bit of diy mechanicing

Did my first bit diy mechanicing yesterday,filled the screen wash and changed a blown brake light,everything went smooth with no problems and no left over bits.Flushed with the success of that thought tomorrow i'd drop the gearbox for an overhaul,change the cam belt and do an LPG conversion,should be straightforward now i'm no car mechanic virgin. :y

Should be ready for a complete engine AND gearbox change, strip and rebuild the X30XE engine and replace with all new parts etc  ;D ;D ;D

I was thinking of doing that but I have to go out in the afternoon so only got the morning to work at the car ;D

I am very torn about LPG at the moment. Yes, I could get a kit very cheap, yes I can install myself, but with petrol under £4.40 a gallon and mpg at around 33+, it's a toss up at the moment  :-/
