Avoid Logitech Webcams!

Nothing wrong with the hardware AFAIK, but the software is absolute pants!  To the point that the frigging thing is near enough useless.  >:(

xp has drivers for my old ones (not tried vista), so the logitech s/w never used :)

In my experience with webcams; Creative software and drivers seem similarly short on stability.....BSOD`s always point back to "Creative Live! Cam Center" or the Creative drivers.
I have the Live Motion (panning/zooming camera): so many promises; so much disappointment! :'(

I have one no probs with it, but using it on the kids 4 year old pc :-X, no need to use it on the laptop as that has a built in webcam

It hangs up every few minutes, and when it comes back the 'rightlight' setting has gone all dark.  For my parents on the other end it hangs up every few minutes, and changes the microphone to one that isn't there.

Built in one on SWMBO's Dell lappy is perfect, and despite being lower res in theory puts out a much better picture.  :-? >:(
