Fitted some of these sidelight bulbs:
Prism LED sidelight bulbs from Halfords

What a PIA job!

They're useless now I have tried them in the dark. :(

They're diffused, like a regular lightbulb so the light doesn't bounce round the reflector like the bulbs do. You just get a small, dim spot of light. The colour is good though (I got white) as they are about the same as the HIDs.

Will try a set of those 360 ones next.

P.S If anyone wants to fit them, there is a right and wrong way round. The right way has the blue resistor in the bulb on the same side as the blue wire to the holder.

Finally changed my wiper motor yesterday, and re-routed some LPG plumbing in the process then recalibrated the LPG system.

Been Tech2'ing today.
