Lets face it, there wasn't many cars that where any good back in the seventies. Please don't come back & say "oh i had a ?? & it was fantastic" they where crap The early seventies cars where good, but then something went wrong at around 1974 :-/ How any of the major manufactures stayed alive is beyond me

I had a mini....and they are fantastic.....

Ok they were from the 50's and 60's.....

The mini was a great car, but obviously once in the 80s (and 90s) a bit long in the tooth.  Still, the first of the BMW minis are bloody awful.  Not had the displeasure of the current one, nor no particular desire to...

My brother's girlfriend has first type BMW mini - remember he will only consider BMW in the same way our own Martin Imber will only consider Sony - and I detest the thing. Horrible ride, uncomfy seats, handles reasonably well, but better stuff out there. Willing little engine though.

I saw a British mini and a German Mini parked next to each other recently......The German mini was HUGE by comparison.

Only Clarkson could come up with something as mad as those Fiesta tests. "What would you do if you were in a shopping mall and you got chased by baddies in a Corvette?".......priceless!!

Yes, and how the heck did they pursuade the mall and individual shop owners to allow that one in this H&S, along with litigation era??    

The insurance premuim for that stunt must have been huge........just take one shop front out and you are talking £30 grand minimum!!!
