Never doubted it.  

I watch the programme infrequently now as its transmogrified itself into the Clarkson roadshow with Hammond and May playing a supporting part.

Each to their own though!!   ;D

It stopped being the Anglea Rippon Pebble Mill type Top Gear a long time ago, mostly since it became an hour long show. It'd certainly beat doing double days at Europe's biggest food factory .......  ;)
