Cold morinings AAAAhhhhhhh
« on: 06 January 2009, 20:04:37 »

Last two mornings have finished work (7pm to 7am) and nothing but crap with the omega first morning dead battery due to the fact my stereo headunit draws current even when not running (need to swap leads so that its on the ignition so its my own fault) got that sorted and got the car home also having problems with the drivers door catch and lock so had to use passenger and jump over.....Then this morning came to the car had to use the passenger door again started the car got scrapping my mate came over said he had locked his keys in his car and it was running so he had to wait for his other half for the spare key....So me and another one of the guys are having abit of leg pulling as he walks off i finishing scrapping the car and in the mean time i have been playing with the drivers door from the back passenger rear door drivers side so i finish scrapping the ice go to jump in the passenger side front to jump over and i bet you have already guessed it thats right its LOCKED i must have locked them when i was messing and its running so had to go and the spare key from home and because i did'ent know were it was i had to get my other half to pick me up and take me home and then she went off to work and i had to get a lift back to work....Hope i dont have any problems in the morning i donnt think i can take another crap cold morning.

Any way rant over just thought you lot could have a good laugh at my miss fortune and the bloody irony of it just my luck.  :-[ :-[ :-[

Lost a set of keys in the summer so only have 1 key for Mig and 1 for Citroen, my daily drive. :-[ These mornings I like to start the car and let it warm up while I finish up getting daughter ready for school, I always leave the car window down a little, just in case the car locks itself of something like that, as only the 1 key............. ::) ::) ::)

i allways open a rear door slightly or open a window if im to leave car running while next to it, this is because im a firm believer that if i dont the inevitable will happen,,

oh and the fact the AA did not appreciate me locking keys in car 3 times in one week  ;D

i also only have one key but i have just taken out key cover through my home insurance and this covers all keys on the keyring, i reckon this will be handy as you never know when you may lose your car key (wink wink)
