No snow but  temperature hit -8.5c on top of portsdown hill Portsmouth this morning

I don`t bloody well believe it!!!! the gaffer sent a text not 10 mins ago telling me to get the mobile gritter out!!! oh glory be that means i gotta walk round the site gritting the walkways!!! dont these gaffers understand its january...its cold...and we r in the middle of credit crunch...plus everybodys skint from xmas..and ffs i`m watching valkyrie on the tinternet or at will be when megavideo lets me ffs.....PLUS I JUST MADE SUM TOMATO SOUP!!!!! ::) ::) ::) ::) this jobs getting in the way... :P :P

Just noticed on the Met Office site that it's currently -11.1 at Benson in Oxfordshire.  :o :o

This will be the coldest night of the year for us southerners.

i might go over and pick kids up for school, they have 20 min walk before they get the bus, through the park which is not nice when its freezing.

So you haven't got a gritter attachment for the Segway? :o

-8.6 and counting here. Chucked about 10 kilos of coal in the grate and lit it earlier so we've been toasty all evening. Roasted chestnuts too. :-*

My beer fridge in the (attached to house) garage is now showing zero degrees. It's normally at 5.

Started snowing in Felixstowe about 10 minutes but it's very fine so i doubt it'll come to much! ::) ::) ::)
