head gasket

Ive seen a miggy up for sale round by me it says head gasket gone....now how hard are these to do and are they worth doing?

you will get varied messages on this - but one issue maybe having the head skimmed

Are you sure its not just oil cooler being misdiagnosed??

We dont know what engien or what are the symptoms.

And no, you skim a head when it measures to be out of true.....the key thing is the measure bit  :y

Forget it guys the person selling does not want to answer any questions about the car so i`m walking away from it....not worth the hassle i reckon even if it is £200.... :-X
