Pedal Trick?
« on: 24 March 2009, 17:38:05 »

Should the pedal trick work on all cars? Is it auto only or manual as well. Just tried it on my 1998 MV6 manual and can't get it to work.

I can't even see which light should flash. Watched the video but the light that is flashing in the video seems to be different to mine. Mine looks like a towbar??? :-[

Hi Scott
The pedal trick only works on the drive by wire cars ie later Facelift.

Thanks guys.

I have done paperclip test and no codes. Just seems to be running a bit rough especially just after start up and is making a strange whistling sound when accelerating?

Any ideas?

Am I going to have to strip down the plenum etc??? :(

Get the engine idling then spray carb cleaner around the plenum area and vac hoses. Any change in the engine, you`ve found an air leak ;)
