warning for men!

Bad subject so sorry .. :(

But needed to warn the friends/members to be careful about their health..

My father have prostate cancer..And have been suffering for 2 years.. And using some medication and injections..Although they dropped the PSA levels now he have serious problems with bones..
Cant move easily, have pain sitting , going to bed etc..

These medications as a side effect weaken the bone structure even without cancer spreading..  :(

So I've done a bit of reading about that subject..

Briefly prostate cancer can be seen very often same as breast cancer in women (have nearly same statics ) ..

So the first checks must be started at age 45 perodically..

Can easily spread to liymph nodes, organs and bones..

For medications they use hormone injections to slow down the cancer tumor growing.. Sadly testosterone is #1 factor for the tumor to grow up.. Which means we must be very careful about our nutrition and stay away from especially red meat which directly effects testosterone levels..

Here are some videos ..

Very sorry Cem to hear about your fathers condition, but I hope the treatment gives the answers hoped for. ;)

Very interesting film, which made me wonder if what us women have to receive to reduce bone deterioration, HRT / Estrogen (the female hormone) wouldn't be a bad idea to tackle this problem.  It would help to counterbalance the testrogen effect, but of course side effects such as breast development could be a problem!! ::) ::)  But if it helps to tackle the main cause of the problem, perhaps it would be acceptable.

This idea could well be completely absurd, but I would love to hear from any medical experts on this. :)
