The 3D File Era!
« on: 12 April 2009, 14:05:22 »

I have just been with the kids to watch the new Aliens Vs Monsters film in the 3D format and have to say i'm blown away by how good the 3D effects were.

Despite the £24 family ticket and £10+ on refreshments I have to say it was money well spent...looking forward to when more mainstream films are released in this format  :y

Ha thankfully not! They look like a pair of Roy Orbison glasses but do the job beautifully.

Its worth a watch even without the kids  :y

Nearest thing I have seen is that curved screen in Blackpool.  You stand up and watch a series of clips.

Rally car and Fire Engine that nearly hit a woman with a pram are the only two I can remember.  But they were good, you could feel yourself swaying on the bends through watching the Screen.
