Pimp my ride Program - The American one
« on: 16 April 2009, 22:05:42 »

Did anyone else see Pipe my ride tonight on Freeview ?.

I missed the one about the x2 American versions of the Ford Escort put together by the lads friend (very bad cut and shut job).

Just seen the cut down version one tonight, Jez's, seriously do the Americans not have some form of MOT over there ?.
Someone must of been looking over the lad and his family for them not to have had a serious accident in it.

Mind you I do wonder about the US version, surely some of the cars would be taken off the road by the Police over there when they come across them ?!.
I remember seeing a 4x4 pick up that basically just had the engine & and cab fitted to it, looked like it had been hit by a huricane, and had took every other panel off the pick up.

Prefer the UK pimp my ride, least they seam to be more sensible modifications (well compared to the US version), I mean what the use of having TV monitors under the car or on the outside of the car ?!.
Unless of course your planing to run someone over, and then offer them use of the TV whilst they wait for the ambulance ?!!!.  :-?

Anyone else see the Escorts put together one, and any thoughts on this program ?.

I saw that episode. Screen under the car. What a stupid idea.

That's one thing I would stipulate if I was having a vehicle done. No multi screens on the roof, in the boot or any of that nonsense.
One in each of the front seat headrests is fine.

I saw a rot box VW camper once - pop riveted aluminium plates to repair sills.

Think it was on TMF
