Easiest thing would be a small trailer TBH

It would, if I was allowed to tow one  :y

As long as it's under 750kgs you can... It's part of the Cat B License (so I understand it) :y :y :y

you only have a problem if the total weight is over 3.5(?) tonnes, you're OK with a small camping trailer.

In that case, scrap the roof box idea - that's a much better option  :y

You just need some where to keep it when not in use.  :y

We Intend to do a LOT of summer camping

We have a Miggy Estate. The boot space is entirely occupied by the dogs, and the car entirely occupied by bodies.

In addition, I need a means of transporting, a large tent, folding chairs and tables, camping cooker etc....

I need a LARGE roof box, any recommendations? Also, any other load carrying devices, would be worth knowing about :y

PM Mike Dundee as I know he had one he was thinking about selling James :y

Bit of advice mate....my brother gave me his a while back. It took all the room in the shed so my son suggested i put it on the roof of the shed. A windy day and it blew off and top if it is buggared. Luckily halfords had a sale over easter and got a bigger one for £150 exdisplay....worth asking about them if you can get them that cheap

Oh also if you are small its best not to park the car with the opening side down a hill-really embarased myself having to move the car to access it lol
