I have always loved Peter Green, but the channel 4 show was poor and too long.

Peter has not aged too well, it was a shock to see this bald fat bloke rambling on, life can be tough even for Rock Gods!

And did someone else on here mention the Bloose?

I here what you say but I found the programme entertaining and a delight to re visit those days again .
I, like many, had heard all sorts of stories about his missing years and it was great to get the truth . It was all down to some stronger than normal LSD and that robbed us of a great guitarist for too many years.
However he's playing again and every bit as good . The only recent album I have is Destiny Rd (PG's Splinter Group ) but I seem to play it every week.
As for ageing well, I wish I looked the way I did when I was 20 ........ :'(

I know what you mean mate, my waist has also expanded a little over the years as well!

Peter was a genius in my opinion and wasn't it good to see Jeremy Spencer up and running?

I watched it on BBCI and thought it was a fantastic program ,fasinating to hear what the other members of the band had to say about it ,and after all these years when i hear "man of the world " it still makes the hair on me neck stand up .Then i watched the Blues Brittainia ,that Keith Richard cracks me up whatever is going on in the brain of the guy ,just shows, "dont do it" cos its gonna screw you up  :D :D
