computer help pls

Hi all , I keep getting error code 0x800ccc69 on my pc. It only happens when I send and recieve emails . I am recieving OK but it will not send , just brings up this error , any help pls ?

0x800CCC69  - SMTP_550_MAILBOX_NOT_FOUND Mailbox not found.

are you sure you have the smtp details correct in account settings

Hi Tunnie , yes they are all correct , I cant work out why it recieves but wont send , my hotmail account is working fine ? ( the fault code related to Outlook )

Either your mail provider is having SMTP issues, or you are not connected via your primary ISP (if it is an ISP provided mail server).

Sometimes with the mail I find if you leave it 24 hours it works itself out, Maybe just problems with other mail servers.

who is your other email provider they may have an smtp client error

Have you asked if the sender put the correct amount of postage on. If he/she hasn't your mail will be floating around in cyberspace forever
