mine has taken abuse from my right foot so far and 12 months of autobahns.  Doing well so far

Good to hear Gaffers - I rather fancy it myself (car)

Either way, the XF's parallel sequential turbocharging should provide all the necessary in-gear, as well as emergency, response.

I'm just thinking that the technology might be a tad on the sophisticated side for extended police work. :-/
