But in the UK it will take 5 years before it is approved for use, how many will die ?

I dont think burocrats will have that courage..

they will find a way to bypass..beacuse its an urgent situation..and patients cant wait :-/

Hi Cem
It won't be the beurocrats here, it will be our medical people. In the Uk we are very very slow at implementing new medical drugs etc. I believe the average is about 3 to 5 years after other countries start using something we may get it here. It has to go through so much testing before being released on us.

Given that a new variant flu vaccination is developed each year, there must already be a process in place to get these on the streets quickly.  The basics of the flu vaccine is well established, it is only the specific strain that needs to be replicated and devloped into the vaccine.  It was expected to be in place by late this year anyway, so I would think this outfit are just the first to confirm successful production.

D'oh I am being an idiot, I thought it was something completly new, yes of course we get a new accine each year.
