I need a new drill
« on: 09 July 2009, 18:07:56 »

It's finally given up after 13 years of service :'( :'( :'(
I was just drilling a 32mm hole through some 6mm steel with a hole saw & it started smoking really bad :o :( :'(
Definately gona buy Black & Decker again, it's been a cracker :y :y :y :y I know you're all thinking "no, buy a Bosch" Er NO >:( Iv'e always bought Black & Decker power tools & never had any problems with any of them (give them some stick too).

My dad's old B&D is still going strong.  However, the newer stuff is pretty poor in comparison

Mate of mine used to run a power tool company and he told me that B&D had gone downhill a few years ago.

That is a fair sized hole saw....

Used to bang 4" hole saws in the air drills we used at work, come to think of it I seem to have one ::)
