Well apparently Steven Gerrard was acting in self defence!  :-/

I wonder how many of the jurors were Liverpool fans? Had he been tried by a neutral jury would the outcome have been different? I think so!

Should have been tried in Manchester with the jury made up entirely of Man U fans  ;D ;D ;D

Amy winehouse was also found to be innocent today.
Maybe the ability to pay for a very good lawyer can sometimes have a bearing on the verdict. ::)

There is no "sometimes" about it, it's all down to who can be the most convincing liar at the end of the day.

Agreed, it is who can afford the best barrister, making a mockery out of the Law, particularly in some civil mattes........... :-X

But they would have had to bus them all up from Surrey!
Imagine what would happen to the poor Judge if he made a decision against them?
Their foreman would throw a hissy fit and not talk to TV journalists...........
