Just found this dated 27th nov 2008

Quote
I would like to know the cost of a full tank of fuel and how many miles this will give.

South Yorkshire Police operate with 850lbs of fuel in the tanks, this equates to approximately 480 litres. Current fuel price of Jet A1 is 52.22p per litre. Therefore a tank of fuel costs £250.66. At an operating speed of 100 knots, this means we could fly 230 miles.

Why is the fuel cheaper?

I know exactly what you mean Skruntie...it's damned f**king inconsiderate of them to be chasing the scrotes who were possibly about to steal your car (or worse).
