Been to Cornwall when the weather is like that, still better than elsewhere

In that case, mon ami, we have travelled different paths over our respective years and have differing levels of what we call enjoyable/worthwhile.

To me, if its clagged in, damp, and with no views due to high hedgerows then I would rather be elsewhere.  So we did!  But each to their own....   :y

Main thing is every one misses out the nicer areas. They head to Newquay or some other mad tourist areas.

Really nice bits are St Ives, the various Rias are nice, the gardens are outstanding, there are some fantastic beaches hidden away, and the fishing villages usually are lovely.
