Remember, remember the 5th of November..

Read elsewhere...

A teacher reported that a seven-year-old pupil had told her, with the straight-faced sincerity that only children can command, that Guy Fawkes chose November 5th as the evening to blow up Parliament because the sound of the explosions would be hidden by the fireworks of bonfire night.

i walked into our local newsagents the other day to the greeting of "penny for the guy mr ? " so like a gent i put my hand in my pocket , pulled out a 2 pence piece, threw it to the lad "said keep the change " picked up the "guy" and walked away. To my surprise   the verbal abuse was un believable and un called for , i dont know , children eh????
