If you have Windows 7, Microsoft FSX is the best. It was a bit jerky on XP, but apparently runs as smooth as silk on 7. Definitely the bees' knees.  :y ;)

Have you had a play with the one built into google earth and had a fly over where you live.  :y

Doesn't do those poncy planes with engines. IIRC, you can be towed by one though.  ;)

Works really well in a room with 3 DLP projectors and half a glider fuselage hooked up to the joystick interface.  8-)

That ones no good. It's got a glitch that makes you fly into buildings.

True, but you can skip the take-off and landing part of the game.
