My old man
« on: 30 January 2010, 09:07:02 »

I went with him yesterday to Makro as I spent 4 hours in the crematorium and he picked me up afterwards to do some light shopping, I went into Makro whilst he went for a part for his Y Plate Mondeo, came and found me in Makro and told me he had the part (????)  and was looking at a new Mondeo, took all the details he says and the Phone number off the windscreen, Bless him, he is 72
Brightened my day after playing for 4 hours in the crem.

???? what's the problem? do you think at 72 then he should stop enjoying life, lie down and wait for the end?

Some do, and the end comes quicker.

You only grow old physically, mentally you are still the same person you always were, this is one of the sad parts of aging.

the Phone number off the windscreen he was refferring to the price and thinks they are mad asking that money, or he cannot believe that was the price, difficult to explain really. I do not expect him to lie down and die, he is still in fact working at the age of 72, I think what I was getting at was taken out of context.
