No ban on trolly's with hedgehog tyres or pneumatic tyres.

Ban on golf carts, as on most courses.

I'm not quite that incapable yet, to require a golf cart ;)

Don't know what MC oatcakes are?

Try this:

Fine oatmeal 225 grams
wholemeal flour 100 grams
plain flour 100 grams
salt 5 grams
sugar 5 grams
dried yeast 15 grams ( 1 tbsp )
luke warm water 450 grams
vegetable oil 15 grams

Directions

Use 15 grams luke warm water and add yeast and sugar leave until frothy. Sieve flour and salt together add oatmeal using a wooded spoon beat in the remainder of the water to form a batter. Cover with a warm damp cloth and leave for 1 hour. Oil the frying pan at high heat drain and sprinkle with salt and wipe clean pour a ladle of the mix into the pan and cook as for pancakes turning over when the first side is cooked. Top with grated cheddar cheese and crispy rasher of bacon, roll up and enjoy.
Further fillings can be used like sausage, egg, beans, tomato, chili con carne, chicken tikka vegetable curries and what ever takes your fancy.

Try this Mike.... Potteries Oatcakes.

Measure        Ingredient
2 ounces       Plain white flour; sifted
2 ounces       Oatmeal
1 teaspoon    Baking powder
¼ teaspoon   Salt
2  Eggs         lightly beaten
8 ounces (fl)  milk
1 tablespoon Butter; melted

This recipe is from a local women's group's Potteries Cookbook.

Mix the flour, oatmeal, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the beaten eggs and milk. Mix with a wooden spoon, gardually incorporating more of the flour until the mixture forms a smooth batter.
Set aside for 30 minutes. Use hot frying pan or griddle, and grease it with melted butter. Place 3 or 4 tablespoons of mixture on it, well-spaced, and cook for 1 minute.

The traditional way to serves them seems to be with butter and jam, but our family always perferred them as a savoury dish, with melted cheese and eggs
