It wouldn't be too hard for Spain to go back to the Peseta as everything is still dual priced even after all these years.

This is the subject of many of the expat forums here. In Andalucia the official unemployment stat is 29%. It is a very real problem.

The government has a scheme to build low cost housing for poor people. Doh. Spain has more vacant new build than the rest of Europe put together!
