Tempting/shocking offer
« on: 09 April 2010, 07:52:22 »

We got took over by a new firm 6 months ago and basically all the managers are p*ssed off as they have been a bit cack. They asked our opinon of them which we gave honestly with the intent of getting things sorted out and improve things . Their response was, you can take 4 months salary and bog off with a reference if you don't like it :o.....Why ask for feedback and react like this?

I wish the job market in my sector was better as I would have bitten their bloody hand off :(!

if you give an opinion they dont like, they wont want you there. probably looking for excuses now to sack people so they can streamline the company for bigger profits.

Surely you've heard the term 'Never volunteer for Anything'?, and that goes double for volunteering information! ::)

I seem to get the impression over the last few years - that many compny's are taking people on for up to 3 months - then conjuroring reasons to get rid off - wait 2-3 months then repeat exercise ( cynical - keep the people you wnat happy for 3 mths , then p** them off for 2 mths , then they are not on 6/7 day weeks ( for 3 mths)) - especially with care homes.
