Quite possibly.

It was OK at 7pm, came back home about 10:30pm and it was shagged then.
Now running fine again.

Cheers Jamie, what ever the problem was , it's now ok.

Was taking about 30 seconds to load pages.

I cannot explain why the failed router caused the issue - I thought I had found a dependency on it, but was wrong...
