Gran Turismo 5 query
« on: 30 December 2010, 11:41:11 »

Got this at Xmas, I played it at release on rental and didn't notice but now I've played more of it and I'm used to Forza 3 soup-ups and set-ups......why can you not upgrade your brakes or am I missing something? Its one of the fundamentals of making a car quicker is to allow it to brake later surely? that and the tyres - i think they've made a mistake or am i being thick?  :o :o

Haven't got into it fully yet, but it doesn't seem as hardcore as Forza. Set up and cars available need work on GT5, but time will tell.

Still not sure who wants to drive the lesser cars in GT5 like the fiat 500! What the hell is that doing  there. :-?

Plus the GT5 driving experience is not a patch on Forza! Sound effects are appalling, graphics although detailed don't give the impression of speed Forza does. Very disappointed so far tbh.  :-/

its good and im loving it at the moment but yeah - Forza 3 is still a better game despite being what 2 or 3 years older now  :o

maybe they'll fix a lot of stuff in subsequent patches but for a game that was 5yrs late in coming for it to be missing key elements is pretty shonky if you ask me - beginning to look rushed out for xmas  :(

For racing fun I think Motorstorm is better.
