Server hiccups?
« on: 31 December 2010, 01:41:38 »

So while I was browsing the forum yesterday the server timed out for a few hours and I couldn't get back on until today. A few minutes ago I was browsing again and the server timed out again and I couldn't get back on the site for about 3 minutes. Anyone else notice it? Have i gone bonkers?

I cannot see anything wrong with the server - that appears to have been running without errors since just before Christmas.

Yesterday morning's outage was one of the routers got its knickeres in a twist.

The hypervisor does need upgrading again (security vulnerabilities), and the OOF server's filesystem does need housekeeping (PITA, as needs outage). When I get a spare couple of hours
