That's embarassing
« on: 02 September 2011, 19:53:22 »

Well, just got humiliated at the KFC drive through, unbeknown to me they've decided to narrow the corners around the drive through, but only at the bit you can't see from the road. Now my KFC drive through was tiny anyway, but now it's even smaller, how embarrassed was I when I couldn't get my 7 series to fit round even with the parking sensors on  :-[ There's a little fence as you drive around the corner and well that and I could get the cars fat lardy arse around without hitting the wall, so not wanting to risk any damage I had to reverse out, along with 2 other cars behind me, although a bloke did come and park next to me in an Audi A5, and say it was so narrow he scuffed his wheels and his lower passenger part of the front bumper  :o Why did I buy a car that is 17 feet long  :-/ That is possibly the most embarrassing thing that I've ever done  :-[ :-[

If I were brave enough then I'd say it was to make up for a small todger...

K.F.C. is easily the best of the fast food joints, when I was driving a van for a living we had a Boss who used to reduce his tax bill by paying for our lunch every day, when we used to hand in the receipts he'd sometimes start clucking like a chicken, he was quite funny...

I'm going to sympathise for once DB, drive throughs are ridiculously designed for something people have to "DRIVE THROUGH"  it's like they make it deliberately awkward, and in your case , not satisfied with that, they made it more awkward still.

Parking and general customer car management is a rather joke IMO. >:(

Actually complain and say that you can fit your car around the other drive throughs.

BTW had a drive through Burger King at Poole last week - that was nice but not as nice as some of hte other food, Swanage chippy or Knoll beach cafe

I know the 1 you mean Del.

My Miggie gets round those corners ok though, but thats probably because I am normally starving when I pull in there and so keen to eat.

Next time park up and walk in ..never seen a queue all the time I have used it so not alot slower.
