Needed all of the following to go right in 5 days to end the week on a high....
1) get car tax sorted
2) look for a caravan
3) buy caravan
4) get towbar for omega to get the caravan home
5) get number plate for the "van
6) sell musso to pay for the caravan
7) find a storage site for caravan in Hoddam Castle and pay for it
easy you think....
Day one- Monday- sorted the car tax paperwork out. Bought caravan said I would collect Friday and pay for it( still havent sold Musso to pay for it) Phoned mobile towbar fitter to arrange fitting.
Day 2 Went for car tax but because it was being changed to disabled they sent the reg doc away. Do I need it for reg plate? Phone Hoddam for a storage site and they have 1 left. Took it.
Day 3 Went for rear reg plate - they will accept owners slip of the reg doc but needs my driving licence??? WTF??Also sold Musso and guy coming Thursday to pay and collect. Towbar fitted at work and working.
Day 4 took driving licence and got reg plate. Musso sold and money accepted.Went to get the caravan a day early and towed it home.
Day 5 Towed the caravan to Hoddam 90 odd miles in pelting rain but got there safe.
This car is excellent for towing by the way. "van was 1/2 the max weight for the car. never pulled a caravan before and was only scared for the 1st 3 mins.
Class week - everything went to plan.
