Can you tell what its off

I took this water pump off today and was shocked that someone would fit this to a car. Have a guess what it came off and just to help you along it wasn't noddy's car (although thats all it was fit for)

That looks like it started life as a BMW water pump, and someone has improved it :o

i dont know what a car water pump looks like as i dont know anything bout mechanics but that looks like its out of a washing machine!!! :-?
