Decent and helpful enough parts department. Service department, well....

...at least they are better (by a million miles) than Evans Halshaw in Milton Keynes, they truely are useless, compitent, stupid, arrogant, pointless theieving bastards.  And did I mention stupid? I mean, take the service manager... ...100 million sperm, and that was the quickest?

In case you didn't get the picture, I cannot recommend Evans Halshaw in Milton Keynes for service (or parts, the arrogance continues there).

Back on topic, would I use Grose's for service? Only if I had to, and I would chose them above many other dealers in the area.

The service department is poor, the staff turn over appears to be high and quality suffers as a result.

lol yep got the picture.

you may have seen the threads where i thanked daz for helping me out this week. car is running like a dream btw ;)

however it had been to groses before and they charged me £250 for spark plug lead and fitting. i was told on here thats a ridiculous price but in my naivety i chose to get it done through groses cos i thought i was taking it to the ''experts''.

HOW WRONG CAN ONE MAN BE???? car was still rubbish.

when darth showed me the oil in spark plug well and the fact that lead no. 2 was also nackered as so called ''experts'' how on gods earth could they have missed this?????????

They are Vauxhall Dealers. They are pretty much universally poor.  Its just how poor ;)

As said, they are one of the better dealers around this area - but thats certainly no recommendation.

what do you reckon the chances of a refund or part refund are.

part of that £250 was a £65 ''diagnosis'' but as far as i can tell the diagnosis was done by the dealers' mates' dog!!!!!  >:(

It would appear that the name says it all, 'Grose'
Like most 'dealers' all they are interested in is screwing as much money out of you as possible, for as little effort as possible.....no matter what make of car you have, the 'dealers' are all the same, bandits by another name!! >:(  >:(

You can ask :.)

You'd need an independant report from an expert that the job wasn't done correctly.

You'll need the head office address:
W. Grose Northampton Ltd
Queens Park Parade
Kingsthorpe
Northampton
NN2 6NJ
Telephone: 01604 712525
Fax:         01604 720223
Registered in England No: 4578329

give em a ring nd find out the managing director's name, and address it straight to him :.)

director appears to be:
GABRIELLE MARGARET HARRIS

hope this helps.
