At a guess the water feed has been taken from the heater output of the HBV .. it needs to be on the INSIDE of that loop, so between the HBV and the Thermostat,... ie the INPUT to the HBV

You need to take a coolant feed for the vaporiser. From experience, the best way to do this for the Omega is to intercept the coolant feed to the HBV and plumb the vaporiser in series (before the HBV) than to Tee into the heater pipes as suggested by most kit manufacturers. So, remove the "Helter Skelter" pipe and cut it so that you have a feed and return pointing towards where you have chosen to mount the vaporiser (O/S inner wing seems to work well)

Connect the coolant hoses to the connectors showing in the above picture and route them to where the vaporiser is going to be mounted.

Am I right in thinking that the pipe your talking about is the one that comes from the coolant bridge ( back of the block / near the 2 therostat's ) into the HBV ?

Use the routing as per the guide, that is proven to work well

(assuming the evap doesn't restrict flow)

Yep... The reducer you've got (it is a kit through our supplier isn't it?) has sufficient flow and is proven to work as per the guide

Yes. Pipe from bridge to hbv. So,Coolant Bridge > vap > hbv. in series...

If cut in the right place it doesn't need to be removed. The curly shape of the back of that pipe lends itself nicely to cutting the back of the u shape off, then poke the elbows (pre jubilee'd to new coolant pipe) straight in and jubilee them up.

 I prefer the vx clips to jubilee clips as they give even pressure all round the pipe, but needs must.

Yep, its the big gold tinker that teilo supplied 

I think I know where I breaked up.
I think I have plumbed it inline with the aux water pump 

I'll pull it all apart tomorrow and have a look for sure.

I'll say this, its bloody tight for space in there with the cruise actuator bolted to the side of the wing 


If I remove the aux pump ( to make some more room )
Will disconecting it cause any problems with codes or anything ?

No problem losing the pump. You need to.

There is an option to tell the car the aux heater is present or not via tech2. But it causes no issues as said.
