Thanks all very much for your comments

Yes that is a VERY expensive accessory attatched to the boot lol

The roof spoiler is only there to hold on the massive air break (roof box)

Yeah it was absolutely amazing up there, i'm in clydebank and it took 8 hours (bare in mind i'm a smoker and its a non-smoking car) Really windy though and lots of midgies and ticks to be had but well worth it

If your driving from suffolk it would be 12hours, thats a bit of a killer drive, fly to Inverness then hire a car maybe???

Keep the comments comin :)

Im in Stevenage, we go on holiday to this amazing part of Scotland called Ardnamurchan.
Its 500 miles from my house to the house we rent there. Takes about 12 hours with average traffic. For the last 2 hours its pretty much all single track road so that really slows it down. Lucky i like driving fast on motorways or i think we would be killing each other in the car lol. Some of the Scottish roads are amazing for a bit of 'fun' though.
Im glad both my kids are teenagers now, dont get bored in the car so i dont have to stop as often.
