This is what OOF is for-far too nice to scrap, worth sorting-£1300 is daft but would be well worth £500+ to do.

Will do. We're just awaiting arrival of the wishbones then I'll be heading up sometime next week, so will let you know how we get on.

Wednesday is the big day  :) - will still be £750 lighter, but it's £750 I'm happy to spend to keep the Elite on the road rather than risk spending it on a shed.
