Not required, just change oil more regular if the stuff in there looks bad...

thanks.

I suppose if looks crappy....hot oil changes every 2000 miles? ? ?

On my motorbike I change the oil at half the recommended milage intervals and change oil filter every other oil change.

Anyone do the same on cars?

My MV6 has oil/filter change every 3 - 4k. Helps keep engine tip top, and costs around a tenner to do using Vx Semi and Vx own filter.

Only use engine flush if things are really bad.

Be careful though, it is not so much what it get out, it is what is dislodged and moved elsewhere in the engine!

As Jaime says, short oil changes with Vx Semi synth and Vx filter.

On a car you don't know the history on, I would change every 1,000 miles for 3 changes.
