Emissions Light finally extinguished
« on: 17 January 2007, 22:59:01 »

After 6 long months of driving with a nasty orange glow I've finally fixed it.

What did I do to clear the fault P0100 identified as MAF problem I hear you ask..... :-?

I sent back the EBay unit that wouldn't work and the guy sent me another - so I thought I'd humour him before sending it back for a refund.  Started the car - light on.  Stopped for 30mins and came home with the dash still lit up orange.  :(

But then......I got in this morning and OMG it's gone!!! [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Car drives fine, less lag is anything when setting off and all for £45. :)

Nearly - the first new MAF was worse than the one I had fitted - the replacement new MAF works a treat and after the engine had a sleep it was all smiles.  :)
