heater controls issue

my 97 (P) 2.0 16v estate has no controls, other than all heat on windscreen plus some on screen/footwells.

I can control the amount of heat and power to these two areas, but all other control is absent (i.e. through vents).
Aircon is not working, if that is connected to problem?

any help appreciated.

Does it have climate, or manual heating?

Check the FAQ for vac hoses, it usually is a vacuum problem, so start there ;)
